Kasalukuyan na umanong naka-isolate ang pamilya ni vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr matapos nitong kumpirmahin na positibo sa Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Aniya, nagpositibo raw ito sa kanyang weekly RT-PCR ngayong araw ng Linggo lamang.
Nakararanas daw ito ng mild symptoms pero nananatili umano itong “in high spirits” dahil ang kanyang buong pamilya ay fully vaccinated naman.
“I would like to apologize to the people whom I have come in contact with over the last five to seven days. I encourage them to have themselves tested and observe their health conditions. While I am under isolation, I will continue to monitor the country’s peace processes and vaccination efforts,” ayon kay Galvez.
Kasunod nito, nanawagan din si Galvez sa publiko na magpabakuna na at ang mga bakunado naman ay magpa-booster shots na.
