“Actually we already streamlined the process, we are accepting applications through online. Applications doesn’t have to submitted face-to-face to regional offices.”

“Some of the LGUs, and applicants we’re saying that NBI clearance is difficult to secure at this time, we said that we will accept police clearance. For diploma, okay we will accept certification from the school.”

“Some of them were also saying that some of the requirements are not available so we told them (that) we will process and as soon you receive your documents we will formally hire you.”

Target ng ahensya na makapag-hire ng 50,000 contact tracers, bilang tugon sa inaprubahang probisyon sa Bayanihan to Recover as One Act. Nauna nang nakapag-hire ng higit 10,000 tracers ang DILG.

“Wala na tayong deadline… if there are no applicants from a certain area, we will get applicants from the neighboring towns.”
