The Philippine Embassy in Israel is verifying the reported possible first Filipino casualty in the middle of the ongoing war in Isarael.
According to PH Consul General and Deputy Chief of Mission Anthony Mandap, this Tuesday morning he again clarified that the embassy has not yet confirmed such report.
The official also expressed fear that there might be first Filipino casualty from the six remaining unaccounted.
Meanwhile, based on Bombo Radyo’s interview with DFA USec. Eduardo De Vera, 23 Filipinos were captured by Hamas militants but they were rescued by the Israeli Defense Force.
The official reminded not to simply release unverified reports on missing or dead Filipinos in Israel.
