Naipasa na umano ng malalaking grupo ng mga negosyante sa bansa at foreign chambers sa tanggapan ng Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. ang listahan ng kanilang mga panukalang batas na dapat na ipasa ng papasok na 19th Congress.

Ginawa ng 12 mga grupo ang sulat bilang kanilang panawagan na maisama sa mga hihilingin ng pangulo sa Kongreso kasabay ng kanyang kauna unahang state of the nation address (SONA) sa July 25.

Liban sa pangulo, sumulat din daw ang mga grupo ng mga negosyante sa incoming House speaker, Senate president at mga key Cabinet officials.

Nakapaloob sa mga kahilingan ang umaabot sa 24 na panukalang batas.

Nagsama-sama ang mga business groups sa kanilang mga kahilingan na kinabibilangan ng American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Australian-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines, IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines, Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Philippines, Inc., Korean Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Inc., Makati Business Club, Management Association of the Philippines, Philippine Association of Multinational Companies Regional Headquarters, Inc., at Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation, Inc.
