Hawak na ngayon ng Task Force Philhealth ang inisyal na imbestigasyon na isinagawa ng Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) at Governance Commission for Government-Owned or-Controlled Corporations (GCG) kaugnay ng katiwalian sa Philhealth.
Ayon kay Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra na siyang nangunguna sa imbestigasyon, bukod sa report ng PACC at GCC, nagbahagi na rin ang Senado ng resulta kanilang initial findings sa mga nauna nitong pagdinig patungkol sa umano’y anomalya sa Philhealth.
Gagamitin ang naturang mga impormasyon bilang ebidensiya ng task force sa paghahain ng legal action o basehan sa magiging rekomendasyon ng task force kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Posibleng irerekomenda rin ng task force ang reorganization sa Philhealth.
“Task Force Philhealth has received the reports of the PACC and the GCG. The senate was also gracious enough to share its initial findings with the task force. These valuable inputs will be used by the task force as leads or building blocks for the filing of legal action or as basis for making recommendations to the president, including on a possible reorganization of Philhealth,” ani Guevarra.
