Isinailalim sa review ng Department of Finance (DOF) ang flagship infrastructure project ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na pinondohan mula sa Official Development Assistance (ODA).
Ayon kay DPWH Senior Undersecretary Emil Sadain, ang pulong nila sa DOF international finance group ay upang matukoy kung anong mga proyekto na ang mga umusad at kinakailangan pa ng tulong.
Sinasabing kabilang sa binusisi ay ilang proyekto sa mga kalsada, flood control projects na ginagastusan ng mga foreign grants at mga pautang na ipinasa ngayon sa Marcos administration.
Kabilang sa mga nagpondo sa naglalakihang proyekto ng DPWH ay mula sa JICA, Asian Dev’t Bank, World Bank, United Kingdom at iba pa.
“The investments on these public infrastructure on various parts of the country will be the cornerstones way forward to recovery from the pandemic for sustainable development,” ani Usec. Sadain.
