Nagkasundo na raw ang Department of Health (DOH) at medical community sa pagbuo ng mga stratehiyang tutugon sa iba’t-ibang issue ng sektor habang naka-modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) ang Metro Manila at ilang karatig na lalawigan.
Ayon sa DOH, nagsimula nang lumakad ang serye ng kanilang collaborative meetings sa representatives ng iba’t-ibang medical societies para paigtingin ang ilang ipinapatupad na stratehiya.
“This ‘timeout’ will be used to take a few steps back and see our COVID situation in a bigger picture.”
Ilan sa napagkasunduang tugunan ng working group ang issue ukol sa kulang na health care workforce, contact tracing at critial areas, transportasyon at kaligtasan sa workplaces, at distribusyon ng social amelioration.
Bukod dito, sisiguraduhin din daw ng grupo na angkop ang mga ginagamit na tools ng bansa para sa detection ng COVID-19, pati na ang pagpapatupad ng protocols sa local government units at private sector.

“This was well-received by the medical societies who emphasized the importance of community engagement for the initiative to be sustainable. They further stressed the importance of applying the same intensity of response in workplace clusters.”
Ngayong araw, nakatakda muling magpulong ang working group ng DOH at medical societies para aprubahan ang mga inilatag na panukalang solusyon.
Pag-uusapan din daw ang magiging papel ng mga organisasyon, health at iba pang sektor, kasabay nang pagsasapinal ng mga target.
