Kinumpirma ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Moscow, Russia na walang Pilipino ang nasaktan o nasawi sa eroplano na nag-crash-land sa isang airport.
Batay sa inisyal na ulat, 76 na pasahero ang sakay ng Aeroflot SU 1492 aircraft.
“The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) extends its condolences to the victims of a passenger plane which caught fire after it made an emergency landing in Moscow, Russia on 5 May 2019. At least 41 people on board Aeroflot SU 1492 were killed, including two children, after the aircraft crash-landed in Sheremetyevo Airport, bursting into flames on impact,” ayon sa DFA.
Ayon sa airline company, nasunog ang engine ng naturang eroplano makaraang nag-take off ito mula sa Sheremetyevo Airport.
Pero nang pabalik na ito para mag-emergency landing ay sumadsad na ito.
Sa ulat ng mga otoridad, lumabas na 41 ang nasawi kabilang na ang dalawang bata.
May 14 naman na sugatan habang siyam ang nasa ospital pa ngayon.
“The Philippine Embassy in Moscow reported that there were no Filipinos among the 76 passengers onboard the plane. Apart from the 41 fatalities, 14 received outpatient treatment and nine people were hospitalized after the crash.”
Nagpaabot ng pakikiramay ang Department of Foreign Affairs sa pamilya ng mga nasawi.
