Umabot na sa 85,486 ang kabuuang bilang ng COVID-19 cases sa bansa ayon sa pinakabagong data ng Department of Health (DOH).
Batay sa case bulletin ng ahensya, 83 mula sa 91 laboratoryo ang nagsumite ng reports kaya nasa 1,874 ang bilang ng mga bagong tinamaan ng sakit na kanilang iniulat ngayong araw.
Mula sa total ng confirmed cases, 56,528 pa ang nagpapagaling.
Ang total recoveries naman ay nadagdagan naman ng 388, kaya ang total ay nasa 26,996.
Samantalang, 16 ang bagong reported deaths kaya naman ang total ng mga namatay ay nasa 1,962.
“There were sixty-one (61) duplicates (including 7 recovered cases) that were removed from the total case count. Moreover, we have updated the outcomes of three (3) cases.”
“One (1) was previously reported as death but updated as recovered and two (2) cases were previously reported as recovered but updated as deaths after final validation; these are already included in the count of new deaths and recoveries.”
