Dalawa pang opisyal ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang itinalaga para sa magkahiwalay na bagong posisyon.
Si Col. Medel Aguilar ay itinalaga bilang acting AFP spokesperson habang si Col. Constancio Espina II ang bagong Philippine Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Command and Control, Communications, and Cyber Systems (G6).
Pinalitan ni Aguilar ang puwestong binakante ni Col. Ramon Zagala na na-appoint bilang bagong head ng Presidential Security Group (PSG) at Senior Military Assistant to the President (SMAP) ni President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Nagsilbi rin si Aguilar na deputy commander ng Civil Relations Service (CRS) ng AFP.
Noong 2016 naging spokesperson din siya ng Cebu-based Central Command (CentCom) bago na-designate bilang Philippine Army Provost Marshall noong 2019.
Naging commander din ito ng 10th Civil-Military Operations Battalion ng 10th Infantry “Agila” Division at commanding officer ng 49th Infantry Battalion ng 9th Infantry “Spear” Division mula 2014 hanggang 2015.
Si Aguilar ay miyembro ng Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 1992 at nagtapos ng Command and General Staff Course noong 2013.
Nagkaroon din ito ng Master’s Degree in Management sa Asian Institute of Management noong 2011 at Public Management Major in Development Security sa Development Academy of the Philippines noong 2012.
Samantala, si Espina naman ang hahalili sa Army G6 post mula kay Col. Patriach Robinson Pel, na siya ngayong bagong Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for C4ISTAR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance) ng AFP.
Si Espina ay kabilang sa PMA “Bantay Laya” Class of 1994.
Mayroon din siyang Master’s degree in Management Information sa University of the Philippines (UP) Open University atPublic Management sa Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP).
