The Brooklyn Nets starters stepped up to overpower the Houston Rockets, 123-116, Friday night at the Barclays Center.

Three players put 20-point plus performance led by the 27 of Taurean Prince along with his 12 rebounds.

Caris LeVert added 25 points while Kyrie Irving also had a double-double of 22 points and 10 assists.

Sniper Joe Harris chipped 15 markers including three triples while Jarett Allen had seven points and 10 rebounds but had the highest plus/minus efficiency with +29.

Brooklyn hit 19 treys in total better than the 12 of the Rockets. They grabbed 55 rebounds as well.

They maintained the hot-shooting throughout the game to hold off the Rockets.

On the other hand, the offense-minded Rockets displayed better defense forcing 22 turnovers for the Nets but their poor outside shooting cost them the game.

James Harden led them with 36 points, five rebounds and eight assists while his partner Russell Westbrook had 27 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.
