Kinumpirma ng isang senior official na tinarget ng joint military combat operation ng Amerika at Israel sina Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei at President Masoud Pezeshkian sa kabisera ng Tehran ngayong Sabado, Pebrero 28.
Ayon sa Israel official, punterya ng military forces ang commanding officers na responsable sa malawakang pagpatay sa Iranian protesters.
Hindi pa malinaw sa ngayon kung matagumpay ang naturang operasyon.
Nakatakda rin aniyang maglabas ng “battle damage assessments” kaugnay sa pag-atake, na binansagang “Roaring Lion”operation.
Nauna ng nangako ang Iran Foreign Ministry ng “decisive at definitive” response kasunod ng inilunsad na military strikes ng US at Israel sa kanilang teritoryo.
Tinawag din ng Ministry ang pag-atake na paglabag sa Uinted Nation Charter.
“The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will decisively respond to the aggressors with authority,” ayon sa Ministry.
“History bears witness that Iranians have never bowed their heads in submission to foreign aggression and domination; this time too, the response of the Iranian nation will be decisive and definitive,” giit ng Iran Foreign Ministry.
