The face of boxing, the current no. 1 pound-for-pound king will be back in the boxing ring this September after inking a new deal for the Premier Boxing Championship (PBC).

Canelo Alvarez announced the development himself on his official Instagram account with two fighters in the lead for his next opponent.

The Mexican superstar last fought in 2023 where he dominated Caleb Plant to be the undisputed Super middleweight champion.

Hoping to follow up for its success, his promoter Al Haymon is working on a massive fight with either Jermal Charlo or David Benavidez.

Charlo is the current WBC middleweight king while Benavidez is the former two-time WBC super middleweight.

Alvarez is okay fighting any of the mentioned names above as he looks to improve his boxing record that currently stands with 59 wins, two losses, and two draws.
