A rise in water levels has been recorded in several major dams, after a series of rains across the country.
The main ones are Angat Dam and Binga Dam in Luzon.
Based on the data of the Hydrometeorology Division, the Angat Dam has returned to the 180 meters minimum operating level, from a very low level of 178 to 179 meters in recent days.
The said dam increased up to 94 centimeters or almost one meter high,
According to experts, the Angat watershed caught the heavy rains throughout its watershed.
Meanwhile, except for Angat Dam, the water in Binga Dam also rose, while the others also recorded a minimal increase.
