Mahigit sa 6,000 na mga bagong kaso ng COVID-19 ang iniulat ngayon ng Department of Health (DOH) sa boung bansa.
Ayon sa DOH nasa 6,845 ang mga bagong nahawa sa virus sa Pilipinas kaya naman ang kabuuang dinapuan ng kaso mula noong nakalipas na taon ay umaabot na sa 1,537,097.
Ang mga aktibong kaso sa bansa ay tumaas din sa 55,069.
Meron namang mga bagong nakarekober na pasyente na umaabot sa 2,330.
Ang mga gumaling sa COVID-19 sa bansa ay nasa 1,455,137 mula noong nakaraang taon.
Kapansin pansin sa unang pagkakataon ay walang naitalang nasawi dahil sa deadly virus.
Ang death toll ay nanatili pa rin sa 26,891.
Pero inamin ng DOH ang kawalan ng data sa mga nasawi sa bansa ay bunsod ng technical issues.
Nagsasagawa na rin sila ng imbestigasyon hinggil dito.
“Note that the 0 deaths reported today is due to the current issues with COVIDKaya. This is currently being investigated with the Department of Information and Communications Technology and a resolution is expected in the next few days. Rest assured that the DOH is exerting all efforts to update the cases as soon as possible.”
Lahat din naman ng mga laboratoryo ay operational noong July 21, 2021 habang mayroong daalwang laboratoryo na hindi nakapagsumite ng datos sa COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).
Base sa datos sa nakaraang 14 na araw, ang kontribusyon ng 2 labs na ito ay humigit kumulang 0.4% sa lahat ng samples na naitest at 1.2% sa lahat ng positibong mga indibidwal.
“11 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 6 are recoveries. In addition, 3 cases were found to have tested negative and have been removed from the total case count. All labs were operational on July 21, 2021 while 2 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Based on data in the last 14 days, the 2 non-reporting labs contribute, on average, 0.4% of samples tested and 1.2% of positive individuals.”
