The United States is now coordinating with the countries of Israel and Egypt for the safe evacuation of civilians trapped in the conflict in Gaza.
This is in the midst of ongoing war in the said area due to the escalating conflict between the militant group Hamas and the Israeli defense forces.
In a statement, US national security adviser Jake Sullivan refused to share details about this but said that they are continuing to consult with various operational agencies.
To recall, Israel retaliated to the Palestinian aggression when it launched a second air strike on Gaza after the militant group Hamas attacked Israel on Saturday that left thousands dead.
