Hinimok ni Speaker Martin Romualdez ang Pilipino sa bansang Morocco na maging alerto at vigilant, matapos niyanig ng magnitude 6.8 na lindol nitong Sabado.
Agad makipag-ugnayan sa mga opisyal ng gobyerno sakaling kakailanganin nila ng tulong.
Nagpaabot naman ng kanyang pakikiramay si Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez sa Morocco.
Batay sa ulat sumampa na sa mahigit 2,000 indibidwal ang nasasi sa deadly earthquake.
Nagpasalamat din si Speaker Romualdez sa Department of Foreign Affairs at Ambassador Leslie Baja sa kanilang pagsisikap upang maitaguyod ang kapakanan ng mga Pilipino sa Morocco.
“We encourage our kababayans to stay vigilant and maintain close coordination with local authorities,” sabi pa ni Speaker Romualdez.
Puspusan din ang ginagawang search and rescue efforts ng mga rescue teams.
“As we share our condolences with the affected families, we acknowledge the commendable efforts of the rescue teams, working diligently amidst adversity. The international community stands united in its wish to see swift recovery and healing for Morocco during these challenging times,” pahayag ni Speaker Romualdez.
Sinabi ni Romualdez na ang pangyayari ay isang paalala na hindi matutukoy kung kailan magaganap ang isang lindol.
“In moments of global challenges, unity and understanding are paramount. We extend our hand in solidarity to Morocco and remain committed to the welfare of our overseas Filipino community,” dagdag pa nito.
