Tiniyak ni House Ways and Means Chairman at Albay Representative Joey Salceda na nakatakdang imbestigahan ng Kongreso ang kontrobersiya na kinasasangkutan ng Department of Tourism’s (DOT) “Love the Philippines” campaign sa sandaling mag resume ang session.

“When we resume session in Congress, we will seek facts,” pahayag ni Salceda.

Ang 19th Congress ay mag resume sa kanilang second regular session ng 9th Congress ay nakatakdang magpulong sa July 24 bago ang ikalawang State of the Nation Address ni Pang. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

“I asked her (Frasco) to fire the consultant. She did. I asked her to correct mistakes and investigate internally. She did. I asked her to be more inclusive with destinations featured. She did. She is open. We can disagree without malice,” pahayag ni Salceda.

“I will criticize openly, as needed. That’s my job as a legislator and a representative of my people. But after heated discussions, we must remain focused on solving problems,” pahayag ni Salceda.
