The most anticipated player in over a decade, Victory Wembenyama, has finally declared himself for the 2023 NBA draft.
The 7’5″ prospect with Kevin Durant-like shooting and Giannis Antetokoumnpo reached hoped his announcement was big news.
“Declaring for the draft, it’s something crazy I’m not realising yet.
“I realised pretty young I wanted to play in the NBA but it becomes a reality more every day. I’m so lucky to have this dream within the reach of my hand,” the 19-year old wunderkid said.
He is the prized recruit, and many NBA teams tanked this season to get the first overall pick.
