Tinatayang $12.570 million o katumbas ng P650 million ang halaga ng 10 Philippine-Russia business agreements na nilagdaan sa official visit ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Russia.
Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, kinabibilangan ito ng isang Memorandum of Agreement, limang Memoranda of Understanding, dalawang Memoranda of Intent at dalawang Distributorship Agreements.
Ayon kay Sec. Panelo, saklaw ng mga nasabing kasunduan ang ilang areas gaya ng cooperation of information exchange, collaboration on business development, exchange of information on investment environment and opportunities, intention to jointly explore the prospects of cooperation in the construction of nuclear power plants, supplying tuna and sardine products and coconut products to the Russian market, gayundin ang distribution, promotion and sale of Russian-made watches, vehicles at IPP-NLS (medical) technologies sa Pilipinas.
“The Office of the President likewise announces that ten (10) Philippines-Russian Federation business agreements, with an estimated project value of USD 12.570 million, were signed during President Duterte’s official visit to Russia. These include one (1) Memorandum of Agreement, five (5) Memoranda of Understanding, two (2) Memoranda of Intent, and two (2) Distributorship Agreements,” ani Sec. Panelo.
