Grand Theft Alvarado turned clutch as he called and drilled a three-pointer to secure the Jordan Rising Stars championship for Team Pau Gasol in the Finals against Team Joakim Noah.
Before hitting the game-winner, Jose Alvarado, who was mic’d up, talked to Cleveland Cavalier superstar Donovan Mitchell at courtside that he would take and make the game-winning shot, 25-20.
After celebrating the cold-blooded play, Alvarado was awarded the competition MVP.
He teamed up with rising talents in Bennedict Mathurin, Scottie Barnes, Paolo Banchero, Jaden Ivy, Andrew Nembhard, and Keegan Murray.
Before the Finals, Team Pau first faced off with Team Deron, which they dominated, 40-25.
