A 2010 first overall draft pick, a five-time NBA All-Star and an NBA superstar are what best describes John Wall.

However, his NBA career hit a big slump to that point that he started comtemplating of committing suicide.

Wall tore his Achilles that forced him to sit out a long amount of time from playing in the NBA, his mom got sick and died, followed by his grandmother’s death a year later hit hard on his mind and soul as he called it “darkest place I’ve ever been in,” in an interview with The Salvation Army.

Him opening up about what happened is a sign that he got over it now and is ready to start a new chapter of his NBA career, now with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Wall previously played minimally with the Houston Rockets before they agreed on a buyout this off season to sign a two-year deal in LA.
