Ex-DepEd OIC Dr. Fe Hidalgo, pumanaw na, 87

Pumanaw na si dating Department of Education (DepEd) officer in charge Dr. Fe Hidalgo sa edad na 87.

Kinumpirma ito ng DepEd ang pagpanaw ng dating kalihim noong Marso 19, 2024.

Nagsimula siyang magturo sa elementary noong 1956 sa Division ng Batanes.

Nagturo din ito sa Quezon City at Lungsod ng Maynila bago naging educational researcher ng Department of Education and Culture.

Pinangunahan din nito ang Staff Development Division bilang human resource managment development chief.

Naging DepEd Assistant Secretary siya for Programs, Projects and Regional Operations noong 1998 at noong 2001 ay Undersecretary for Programs and Projects.

Taong 2005 ng itinalaga itong OIC Secretary ng DepEd ni dating Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
