Nilinaw ng Department of Health (DOH) na pinapayagan pa rin naman ng pamahalaan ang home quarantine ng COVID-19 cases, pero sa mas mahigpit na panuntunan.
Nitong araw nang manawagan ang ilang civil society groups na payagan pa rin ang pagpapagaling sa bahay ng mga pasyenteng may kakayahan naman mag-home quarantine.
Ayon sa ahensya, malinaw ang nakasaad sa resolusyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force kung saan required sa facility-based isolation ang mga mild at asymptomatic patients.
Ang mga maaari lang daw na maging exempted dito ay yung mga pasyenteng ikinonsidera na vulnerable. Tulad ng mga menor de edad, senior citizen, mga may iba pang iniindang sakit, buntis, persons with disabilities na walang kakayahan magsarili, at “immunocompromised patients.”
“And that his/her home meets the conditions specified in Annex “F” of the Department of Health and the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Joint Administrative Order 2020-0001.”
Posible ring payagan sa bahay magpagaling ang isang confirmed case kung magde-deklara ang Regional Task Force at isolation facility na puno na ang kanilang pasilidad.
“With this IATF resolution, DOH and DILG, in consultation with local experts, are now working together to update the DOH-DILG JAO on LIGTAS COVID-19 Centers, specifically the provisions on the admission of confirmed asymptomatic and mild COVID-19 cases in Ligtas COVID-19 Centers.”
