Nasa kamay pa rin daw ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang pagdedesisyon para opisyal nang magamit ang inaprubahang contact tracing application para sa bansa.

Sa Laging Handa press briefing kanina sinabi ni DICT spokesperson Adrian Echaus, na kahit aprubado na ng IATF ang StaySafe.ph ay pinag-aaralan pa rin nito ngayon.

“Sa ngayon po, pinag-aaralan pa po ‘yun for the app po. I believe it was sa IATF po ‘yun, it was a collaborative effort of all agencies, so we have to defer to their guidance and directive,” ani Echaus.

Para sa DICT spokesperson, dapat dumaan sa cybersecurity bureau ng ahensya ang ilalabas na guidelines.

Kung maaalala, sinabi ni dating ICT Usec. Eliseo Rio na sa kabila ng ng rekomendasyon ng ahensya, kasama ang National Task Force, ay pinaboran pa rin ng IATF ang nasabing aplikasyon.

“I mobilized the ICT sector to be part of this Oplan and got support from UNDP in terms of software, hardware and IT expertise not only local, but from Singapore and South Korea, countries that have already flattened their curves. The Platform includes among others a data warehouse and a common dashboard of the NTF at no cost to the government,” ani Rio sa kanyang Facebook account.
