Nakatakdang buksan ng San Juan City government ang registration para sa COVID-19 vaccination ng mga batang edad 5 hanggang 11.
Sa isang advisory mula sa local government unit ngayong araw ng Linggo, inaanunsyo ni Mayor Francis Zamora bukas, Enero 3, 2022, ang pagsisimula nang pagtanggap ng mga registrants sa naturang age grouo.
“They have already rolled out the vaccination in other countries and we are hopeful that the IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force) and DOH (Department of Health) will soon come up with its protocols and by the time that they give the go signal, we want to be ready to roll out our vaccination right away,” ani Zamora.
“We are being proactive to protect the children especially since they are allowed to go out in public and face-to-face classes are slowly being implemented,” dagdag pa niya,
Samantala, hinimok din ng alkalde ang mga residente ng lungsod na hindi pa nakapagpa-booster shots na magparehistro na rin sa vaccine registration portal nila.
