Naglabas na ng P22.3-bilyon na pondo ang Department of Budget and Management (DBM) para sa pension differential funds ng mga retiradong sundalo at uniformed personnel.
Ayon sa DBM, sakop ng ni-release na budget ang June hanggang December 2019 pension differential ng retirees mula sa Department of National Defense, DILG, National Mapping and Resource Information Authority at Philippine Coast Guard.
“The DBM is pleased to announce that it has already released around P22.3 billion to the Department of National Defense, the Department of the Interior and Local Government, the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority, and the Philippine Coast Guard to cover the pension differential of MUP retirees for the period of June to December 2019,” ayon sa DBM.
Nilinaw naman ng DBM na agad aaksyunan ng tanggapan ang pension differential ng retirees para sa buwan ng Enero hanggang Mayo nitong taon.
“Meanwhile, the pension differential for the period of January to May 2019 will be acted upon separately, subject to the availability of funds.”
Kung maaalala, isinabatas ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte noong 2018 ang increase base pay ng militar at uniformed personnel.
