Nasa intelligence watchlist na raw ng Philippine National Police (PNP) at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang mga guro na nagre-recruit umano ng mga estudyante para maging miyembro ng komunistang grupo.
Inamin ni Department Interior and Local Government Sec. Eduardo Año na may ilang guro talaga ang recruiter ng mga estudyante na maging miyembro ng ng rebel groups.
Lalo na’t ilan sa mga kasapi nito ay miyembro rin ng lead front organizations ng Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP).
“Yes, oo, they know it, they are playing around with our democratic spaces,” ayon sa kalihim.
Ayon sa Interior secretary, katuwang nila ang mga dating rebelde na nagbalik loob ngayon sa gobyerno .
Pawang mga ito raw ang nagbibigay ng impormasyon kaugnay sa mga modus sa recruitment.
Para kay Año matutuldukan lang ang pangre-recruit ng mga inosenteng kabataan kung sisilipin muli ng DILG at PNP ang memorandum sa pagitan ng University of the Philippines at Department of National Defense.
