Known for his crazy layup package and 1-v-1 highlights on YouTube, Mac McClung is now close on making his NBA debut after the reigning champion Golden State Warriors sign him to a non-guaranteed one-year deal.

McClung, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers in the recently concluded Las Vegas Summer League.

He registered an average of 13.4 points and 4.8 assists in the 12th place finish of the Lakers.

Before joining the SL, McClung played in the G-League where he won the Rookie of the Year award with an impressive posting of 21.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists.

His signing with the Warriors however, doesn’t mean a spot in the team as the champ can waive him off anytime.

McClung has to earn it in San Francisco.
