Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. stated that he will still campaign for the proposed P150 across-the-board salary raise.
This is behind the implementation since yesterday of a new wage order that would add P40.00 to the daily wage of workers in Metro Manila.
According to Sen Revilla, the P40.00 increase in salary is quite little while the government owes the workers so much.
Revilla claimed this is far from the P150 salary increase they desire, which according to the legislator will be more than enough for the workers to cover their daily necessities.
He added he feels that this is also the wish of many workers, including his fellow legislators, for the betterment of the quality of life of Filipinos.
