Sa kanyang mensahe sinabi ni Robredo na kahit may hinaharap na krisis ang buong mundo dahil sa COVID-19 ay manatili sanang matatag ang pananampalataya ng bawat isa, habang sinisiguro ang kaligtasan.
“This year’s feast of sacrifice takes on a different character: Where once we gathered around a table with friends and loved ones to share a feast, today we keep the gatherings small, imbibing a deeper mindfulness for the safety and welfare of our loved ones.”
“It is a small sacrifice, still grounded upon the bedrock of Ibrahim’s humility, obedience, and faith.”
Naniniwala raw si VP Leni na walang kahit anong unos ang makakatibag sa pananalig at pagkakaisa ng mga Pilipino.
“They grow ever stronger.”
Sa huli, tiniyak ng bise presidente na malalampasan ng estado ang pagsubok na hatid ng pandemic.
