National Security Council (NSC) Assistant Director General and Spokesperson Jonathan Malaya confirmed that it has been conveyed to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. the discovered floating barriers near Bajo de Masinloc in the West PH Sea.
Chinese vessels placed the floating devices in the area, which drew condemnation from lawmakers.
The NSC official also explained that he always informs PBBM of all major events in Bajo de Masinloc, Ayungin shoal and the entire Calayan Island Group because he is the chief executive of the country.
Right now, the NSC is waiting for the President’s response to the report prepared by the council.
