Parts of Luzon were shaken by a magnitude 4.8 earthquake on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, it was felt at around 3:16 PM in Central Luzon and Metro Manila, as well as in some nearby areas.
The epicenter was identified to be located 26 kilometers southwest of Palauig, Zambales.
It has a depth of 46 kilometers and originated from tectonic activity.
No significant damage is expected, and there have been no reported aftershocks from the earthquake.
