The NBA legends Lebron James and Anthony Davis approved the veteran Spencer Dinwiddie when his family pressured him to return home to Los Angeles.

After playing for the Brooklyn Nets, Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, Washington Wizard in his entire career, the 10-year NBA veteran Dinwiddie decided to join the Lakers as a free agent with a one year contract, February 10, 2024.

Spencer, born in Los Angeles, said that his family wanted him to be part of the Lakers.

“Playmaking, another ball handler, another shot-maker,” James said when asked about Dinwiddie Davis added that Dinwiddie is a big guard, shot-maker, and playmaker. The two NBA superstars expected him to play as point guard.

Meanwhile, Spencer has played with D’Angelo Russell in Brooklyn who is currently a point guard and shooting guard of the Lakers. Dinwiddie averaged 12.6 points and 6.0 assists.
