With 2,510 new cases recorded from July 3 to July 9, Covid-19 cases decreased by 9%, the Department of Health said on Monday.

According to its case bulletin, 359 cases on average were recorded each day, while 382 severe and critical cases were also reported.

The period from June 26 to July 9 had no confirmed deaths.

Bed utilization across the country remains low at 17.4 percent, or 3,001 beds occupied out of 17,233 available non-intensive care units (ICU).

In the target demographic, the nation has recorded a vaccination coverage rate of 100.4 percent, or 78 million people who have received the first two doses of the vaccines and 23 million people who have received their booster shots.
