Ito ang kinumpirma ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin matapos humarap ito sa mga miyembro ng Malakanyang Press Corps.
Gayunpaman, walang update si Bersamin kaugnay sa courtesy resignation ni National Security Adviser Eduardo Ano.
Paliwanag ni Bersamin very personal ang pwesto ng NSC sa Pangulo at hindi idinaan sa office of the executive secretary ang courtesy resignation ni Sec. Ano.
Kinumpirma ni Bersamin na tinanggap na ni Pang. Marcos ang courtesy resignation ni CHED chairperson Popoy De Vera.
Ayon kay Bersamin nais ng Pangulo ng bagong pagsisimula sa CHED dahilan tinanggap nito ang courtesy resignation ni De Vera.
Hindi naman masabi ni Bersamin kung anong dahilan ng Presidente.
” Hindi natin madi-discount that may factor diyan iyong mga intramurals doon sa CHED. I do not know, I cannot particularize because I’m just generally aware of those particulars. A collegial body like the CHED always comes under such pressure from within but I’m not going to say that was the reason, I’m just guessing – that played a lot in the acceptance of resignation,” pahayag ni ES Bersamin.
