Bombo Radyo Philippines once again proves its excellence in broadcasting as it wins three major awards and earns two special citations at the 47th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA), reaffirming its commitment to truthful, responsible, and community-oriented journalism.

Leading the honors is Bombo Network News, named Best News Program for the second consecutive year — a back-to-back recognition for the network’s flagship newscast.

Other major winners from the network include Bombo Special Report, which wins Best Business News or Feature, and Pinoy Memories of Star FM Iloilo, which takes home the Best Entertainment Program award.

Bombo Radyo Philippines also receives special citations for Bombo Lifestyle (Best Public Service Program) and Istoryang Pasada: Takbo of Star FM Manila (Best Counseling Program).

This year’s 47th Catholic Mass Media Awards is particularly meaningful for Bombo Radyo Philippines as it qualifies in ALL NINE ( 9) categories in radio category, which proves the network’s strong presence across news, public affairs, and entertainment programming.
