CENTRAL MINDANAO-Isang bangkay ng mga miyembro ng Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) ang narekober ng militar sa lalawigan ng Maguindanao.
Ayon sa ulat ng 601st Brigade na nagsasagawa ng combat clearing operation ang Ist Mechanized Infantry Battalion Philippine Army sa Sitio Maybunga Brgy Upaw Shariff Aguak Maguindanao nang masdiskubre nila ang bangkay ng BIFF.
Narekober din ng mga sundalo ang isang 81 mm mortar projectile at tatlong Improvised Explosive Device (IEDs) sa Brgy Meta Datu Unsay Maguindanao na iniwan ng BIFF.
Pinuri naman ni Western Mindanao Command Chiel Lieutenant General Cirilito Sobejana ang matagumpay na operasyon ng Joint Task Force Central.
“I commend the dedication and selfless service of our sodiers. We will sustain the momentum and continue our various peace initiatives for the good of all the people in the region,” ani Sobejana.
Sa ngayon ay pinaigting pa ng militar ang pagtugis sa BIFF sa Maguindanao.
