Nasa halos 200 area ang itinalagang fireworks zone sa Quezon City para sa pagsalubong ng bagong taon.
Kaya naman labis ang panghihikayat ni Mayor Joy Belmonte sa mga residente nito na huwag basta gumamit ng firecracker at ibang pang uri ng paputok sa pampublikong kalsada.
“We hope everyone will cooperate with the city government in promoting safe and responsible celebrations during the holidays,” ani Belmonte.
Sakop ng nasa 12 istasyon ng Quezon City Police District ang mga firecracker zones:
– La Loma, PS1
-Masambong, PS2
-Talipapa, PS3
-Novaliches, PS4
-Fairview, PS5
-Batasan, PS6
-Cubao, PS7
-Project 4, PS8
-Anonas, PS9
-Kamuning, PS10
-Galas, PS11
-Eastwood, PS12
Sa mismong New Year’s Eve na December 31 ay babantayan ang mga ito ng barangay officials, kasama ang Barangay Security and Development Officers at volunteers.
“We recognize that fireworks can be a fun way to celebrate but we want to make it safe at the same time. We invite the public to safely enjoy these professional fireworks display in QC,” ayon sa mayor.
