The construction of additional housing projects in the cities of Pasig and Navotas will begin tomorrow, August 8.
Based on the official plan of the National Housing Authority, two low rise buildings with five floors each will be built in Brgy Sta Lucia, Pasig City.
The two aforementioned buildings will consist of 108 units for poor families in Metro Manila.
It is also part of the construction of five other additional buildings that will provide a total of 420 housing units for poor families.
As for Navotas, 24 buildings will be built in Brgy Tanza. Each building is five stories high.
It is expected to provide 1,440 housing units
The target beneficiaries here are those who are informal settlers in the two aforementioned cities.
More housing units are expected to be built in the next few days, under the government’s Housing Program.
