Muslim communities in Cagayan de Oro called for an end to the war between Israel and Militant Hamas to prevent innocent civilians from suffering.
Young muslim held a ‘Solidarity Walk for Palestine, A Walk for Peace’.
The program started at 6 am at Rodelsa Circle and ended at the Amphitheater in Divisoria.
Participants carried some signs with the statements “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” “I stand with Palestine,” and “Palestinian lives matter,” among others.
According to Muslim Youth Council -Cagayan de Oro chair Abul Khair Casidar, prayer is one of the strongest weapons for Muslim students who want to end the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
