Majority of Filipinos or more than 50% are in favor of the decision of Congress to reallocate the confidential and intelligence funds to the agencies that supervise the security of the country.

This is based on the results of Tugon ng Masa survey by OCTA Research.

72% of the respondents are aware of the discussion on the controversial confidential funds.

Where the majority of respondents who have knowledge of the issue is in Balance Luzon at 87%, while the highest percentage of respondents who have no knowledge of the issues is in Mindanao at 39%.

Among the socio-economic groups, 72% of class ABC had the highest number of those in favor while 54% of class E had the lowest number of those in favor.

Meanwhile, only 14% of adult Filipinos opposed the decision of Congress to irrallicate the confidential funds.

Survey was conducted on 1,200 respondents nationwide from September 30 to October 5 where it has a ±3% margin of error.
