Inaasahang mailalabas na ng Department of Budget and Management ang fuel subsidy na ibibigay sa 1.3 million tsuper at operator ng public utility vehicles bago matapos ang buwan ng Agosto.
Ayon kay Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Executive Director Robert Peig, ibibigay ang naturang fuel subsidy para sa mga tsuper at operators ng public utility jeepneys, buses, taxis, shuttle services, school services, tourist services, transport network vehicles, tricycles, at delivery riders upang matulungan sila gitna ng mataas na presyo ng gasolina at diesel.
Mayorya ng subsidiya ay mapupunta sa mga tsuper ng tricycle sa buong bansa.
Para sa mga driver at operator ng modern jeepney at modern UV express, makakatanggap ang mga ito ng P10,000, para naman sa traditional jeepneys nasa P6,500, sa school/shuttle/tourist service/TNVS ay makakatanggap din ng P6,500, sa mga delivery rider P1,200 at sa tricycle drivers naman ay P1,000.
Matatanggap ng mga tsuper na regulated ng LTFRB ang naturang subsidiya sa pamamagitan ng fuel cards habang ang mga nasa ilalim naman ng LGUs, Department of Information and Communications Technology, at Department of Trade and Industry ay matatanggap ang subsidiya sa pamamagitan ng e-wallets.
