The Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Wednesday launched an online platform with the goal of improving the usability and accessibility of its services for visitors from abroad.

According to BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco, the tourist visa extension is one of the highlights of the said e-services because he said it will also greatly help the tourism.
He said the eService allows visitors to comply with their immigration requirements from the comfort of their own homes, hotels, or even by the beach.
It will definitely help boost tourism, which is one of the main goals of the current Philippine administration.
