Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto and other lawmakers fully supported the initial committee report outlined by Sen. Richard Gordon regarding the “ninja cops” issue.
The public saw how the Senate inquiry went and it clearly proved that the authorities, who were allegedly linked to drug recycling, violated the law, Sotto said.
The Senate also gave the accused, even PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde, a chance to defend themselves.
The panel members only need to sign the said committee report once session resumes.
