Kinumpirma ni Presidential Spokesman at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel (CPLC) Salvador Panelo na magbabalik at papalitan siyang presidential spokesman ni Atty. Harry Roque.
Magugunitang nagbitiw noon si Atty. Roque bilang spokesman ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte dahil sa balak nitong pagtakbo bilang senador noong 2019 elections pero hindi rin natuloy.
Sinabi ni Sec. Panelo, mananatili pa rin siyang CPLC at maglalabas pa rin siya ng mga statement kung kinakailangan.
Napag-alamang mamayang hapon na magsisimula si Atty. Roque sa kanyang trabaho bilang nagbabalik na presidential spokesman.
“Yup Harry Roque will be back to his previous post. I’m still the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel. I will be performing the same role as the President’s chief lawyer and issuing statements as such,” ani Sec. Panelo.
“The present crisis requires a new tack in messaging.”
