Inaprubahan ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) sa kanilang ika-58 na meeting ang pagsasagawa ng Physician Licensure Examination ngayong taon sa gitna ng COVID-19 pandemic.
Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ang examination na ikalawang bahagi na o Part II ng testing activities para sa March 2020 Physician Licensure Examination ay itinakda pansamantala sa Setyembre 20 at 21, 2020.
Ayon kay Sec. Roque, isasagawa ang examination sa ilalim ng mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng mga protocols na itatakda ng Department of Health (DOH).
Samantala, inaprubahan din ng IATF ang partisipasyon ng Pilipinas sa Gavi COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access (COVAX) facility kabilang na ang paglalaan ng kaukulang pondo para dito.
“The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), in its 58th meeting held on July 23, 2020, approved the holding of the Physician Licensure Examination. The examination, which is Part II of the testing activities for the March 2020 Physician Licensure Examination, is tentatively scheduled on September 20 and 21, 2020. The conduct of the examination will be held under observance of the strict protocols set by the Department of Health,” ani Sec. Roque.
