Ang libreng transportasyon ng Phil Army ay nagsimula nitong Martes, March 17, 2020.
Ang hakbang ng Philippine Army ay bunsod sa umiiral na Enhanced Community Quarantine sa buong Luzon.
Ayon kay Philippine Army Spokesperson Lt. Col. Ramon Zagala nasa 16 na military vehicles ang nag ooperatw ngayon sa Metro Manila at sa karatig na bayan o municipalities.
Sa datos ng Phil Army sa ngayon nasa kabuuang 1,442 ang naka avail na sa kanilang libreng sakay mula CAVITEX patungong Metro Manila area and vice versa; Mall of Asia to Paranaque and vice versa; Guadalupe to SM North Quezon City and vice versa; Ortigas Center to Sampaloc Manila area and vice versa; Ortigas Mandaluyong to Taytay Rizal and vice versa; Araneta Center Cubao to SM Masinag Marikina area and vice versa; SM North EDSA to Fairview Terraces Quezon City and vice versa.
Dagdag pa ni Zagala mag di dispatch rin ang Army ng mga sasakyan sa may area ng CAVITEX to Lawton Manila; SLEX to Lawton Plaza, Taguig to NAIA Terminal 1, 2; at BGC Taguig to NAIA Terminal 3.
“The Army is extending its capabilities in order to provide whatever support it can give specially in transporting essential personnel to their place of destination. We still encourage non-essential personnel to cooperate with the government and just stay at home” ayon kay Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Gilbert Gapay.
