Sinalubong ni Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Sec. Teodoro Locsin Jr. ang 10 doctor at dalawang opisyal sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport nang dumating nitong hapon.
“The Chinese experts arrived with invaluable firsthand experiences to share on fighting and containing COVID. Thank you China,” ani Locsin sa isang online post.

May bitbit pang banner na may nakalagay na “Laban Pilipinas” ang mga dayuhang eksperto.
Sa pagdating ng mga eksperto, inaasahang bibigyan nila ng technical advice kaugnay ng prevention at control ng infectious disease ang bansa.
Ayon sa Department of Health, nakatakdang bisitahin ng grupo ang ilang local health facilities para masilip kung ano na ang ginagawang hakbang ng pamahalaan.
Kabilang daw sa mga posibleng puntahan ang referral hospitals na San Lazaro Hospital at Lung Center of the Philippines.
