Beginnings:
Bombo Leizel Fernandez-Valdez is a young progressive radio personality of Bombo Radyo
Butuan-Butuan City the Timber City of the South in the heart of Mindanao.

She finished her education at Father Saturnino Urios Univer-sity with a course in Bachelor of Arts Major in Guidance and Counseling.

She started her radio career way back in May 1998 in DXBR Bombo Radyo as Bombo Volunteer. Later on September in the same year she was employed as a researcher in the research department. Then, she was assigned as patrol reporter for a couple of time, until
finally assigned in the news department as news writer and newscaster at present.

She’s been tasked to voice over all special features because of her golden voice that captivates listener’s ears. Her opportunity to work as a news writer develops more of her skills in anchoring for she’d handled Sunday programs for the past years. She’s easy to work with and always committed to follow any order.

Now, she’s co-anchor of Bombo News and Views morning edition and in afternoon edition if her tour duty falls on 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

She will continue to provide information that are supported and affirmed by credible sources. She will also write’s about the good news behind all the bad news these days.
